Churches

There are three churches for wedding and christening ceremonies at the Nasioutzik Museum.
The first one is at walking distance from the Byzantine Estate, and offers a very typical Greek Orthodox setting. Opening up to a large terrace, it has the feeling of a traditional village church.
The second is a gorgeous chapel inside the Meteora Mansion. It features beautiful woodcarvings and priceless icons, which, together with a subtle play of light and the monastic-ethnic feel of the Meteora create a magical setting for an Orthodox wedding or a christening.
The third us not used for ceremonies, but our guests are welcome to visit it and admire the 18th century altar.
If a (Greek Orthodox) church wedding is not what you want, we can of course suggest many other beautiful and romantic spots on the estate for a different kind of wedding ceremony.
